We sell a lot of different belts from Tory and have never heard that they run small. Based on this size guide I found on Tory's website I believe a 34 would be the correct size:

Hi there, I've heard the Tory Leather belts run a little "small," so if my son has a 33" waist, should I order a 34 or go with a 36? Thank you!
