The handle should not leak. Effol products are high quality, made in Germany.
The shampoo would not automatically come out of the brush but would only require a bit of squeezing pressure on the handle to dispense.
I don't believe this product would work well with a liquid fly spray. It is designed to work with a gel type shampoo and the holes would be too large for a liquid to be contained.
