That is correct. They are both Bedales. However, they are not made from the same material. The Classic Bedale is made from Sylkoil waxed cotton which is unshorn, giving it a softer, more matte, slightly fuzzy feel and look, while the standard Bedale is made from Thornproof waxed cotton which is is pressed smooth, resulting in a stiffer, shinier, more "oily" finish that's more robust against thorns but can transfer wax more easily.
